"Unity 4000 Satellite"

In December, 1999, the Christian Radio Consortium replaced the old analog signal satellites with a new digital satellite system, the UNITY 4000. This allows us to receive more programming with clearer sound than ever before. This new satellite required a new satellite dish sensitive enough to focus on the new digital satellite in space and translate the signal to radio programming.

12-foot diameter frame rests on four 4-x-8 foot feet on the roof of the TRUTH Radio facilities.

Individual sections of the shell are bolted onto the frame to collect the digital signal from the satellite.
